The Lifa Special Cleaner 2 is an electric wire brushing machine.
It is a compact tool for ventilation duct installation personnel and is easily portable in a box. The installation personnel clean the new ducts before handing them over to the customer.
Finnish research has shown that a large amount of dirt build-up accumulates on the inside surface of ventilation installation supply air ducts during construction.
The length of Special Cleaner 2's flexible cleaning axis can be set anywhere between 2 - 20 m. The recommended cleaning axis is max. 12 m long. (The axis is an accessory.) The axis is attached to the machine with a bayonet socket.
The machine operates with mono-phase current.
The rotation direction can be changed with a pneumatic foot adjuster. A manual adjuster is also available as an accessory (Lifa Manual Adjuster SC2). Changing the direction of rotation enables the user to navigate the brush around duct bends.
All of the brushing machines made by Lifa Air Ltd can be used to clean round or square ducts. The correct choice of brush and cleaning technique ensure that rectangular ducts can also be cleaned.
Connecting a Lifa vacuuming unit, HepaClean 4000 or HepaClean2500, to the duct ensures the complete removal of all dirt brushed loose in the ventilation duct.
